Weidmüller offers a wide range of different digital input modules which are primarily used to receive binary control signals from sensors, transmitters, switches or proximity switches. Due to their flexible design, they are able to meet your demands on well-coordinated project planning with reserve potential.
All modules are fully compliant with IEC 61131-2; they are available with 4, 8 or 16 inputs and can be switched on the input side with type-1 and type-3 sensors in accordance with the standard. With a maximum input frequency of up to 1 kHz, they can be used in a variety of different applications. The variant for PLC interface units allows rapid cabling to the proven Weidmüller interface components using system cables. This ensures rapid incorporation in your overall system.
The module electronics supply the connected sensors from the input current path (UIN).
