In switching facilities and controllers, the N conductor may need to be merged with the PE conductor at a central point.
For this reason, busbars are available that allow a wide range of cables to be connected within a confined space (up to 70 wires on one metre of rail).
The cables are connected via a compression piece or a clamping yoke. A guide lug at the compression piece grips into the busbar and holds tightly to the compression piece.
The clamping yokes can be moved on the busbar and adjusted to the whole wiring in the facility. The busbar can be used without holes in various lengths.
The SH rail holding clamp is used for fastening. On longer rails, it can also be aligned between clamping yokes.
In order to bring together neutral conductors and predective conductors at a central point, it is advantageous to use ZB cable clamps together with 10 x 3 or 6 x 6 busbars.
The cable clamps can be pushed onto the busbar and adjusted to the entire wiring in the system. The cable clamp serves as the protective conductor connection and can be supplied
with green/yellow insulating caps. These caps indicate the protective function and marking tags allow clear identification of each conductor.
If the cable clamps are used to connect neutral conductors, they can be marked with a blue insulating cap.
